WOOM is a data-driven tech company focused on reproductive health. We help couples and women in different stages of their reproductive life, from prevention up to menopause, including trying to conceive, pregnancy and postpartum. We currently operate 7 countries: Spain, Mexico, Argentina, Chile, Peru, the US and other LATAM Markets, with more than 1 million registered users. This year we plan to continue with our international expansion. We are a team of 16 talented professionals, covering Technology, Data Science, Product Design, Marketing and Community, coming from tech companies as Google, eBay, and the startup world.
Who are we looking for?
We are looking for a Chief Technology Officer (CTO) to provide sound, hansd-on technical leadership in all aspects of our business, including coding hand in hand with the team. You will communicate with employees, stakeholders and customers to ensure our company’s technologies are used appropriately. Strategic thinking and strong business acumen are essential in this role. We expect you to be well-versed in current technological trends and familiar with a variety of business concepts. If you are also an excellent communicator and public speaker, we’d like to meet you.
As a CTO at WOOM you will be responsible to scale the team into strong local and offshore (Bulgaria) technical teams with a powerful footprint in innovation, machine learning and security. Expectations are that the technical team will double in size to 12 people. Our future CTO should bring the best architecture practices, development methodologies and innovation and should excel in international and diversified environments.
Required skills and experience
We are looking for someone with outstanding leadership skills and a strong business vision that will allow us to scale the team quickly as well as understanding and aligning the technology to the business priorities.
Given the strategic approach of the Company, we want to bring someone with a solid background on data and machine learning.
The new CTO will continue to maintain and improve current contracts with service providers such as AWS and Google; he will also need to continue improving security protocols of the company. Bilingual English-Spanish, international experience, previous experience as CTO or Sr management experience in a growth startup; and still avid of coding.

- AWS: Elasticbeanstalk, EKS (Kubernates), RDS
- Other: Rabitmq, Kibana-ElasticSearch, Dockers
